It's sad to admit, but our Dodge Charger is discontinued not because we wanted it, but simply because it happened. Let's set aside the reason and share the story behind it, along with how it helped us elevate our design.

This project started in 2018, we had a lot of comments coming in from social media. This information was controversial for us; some were asking us to start making kits without visible hardware, while others said our kits are extremely wide. All of it pushed us to try something new, something we had never done before. We saw great potential in the Dodge Charger—a fast sedan with serious power that definitely needed more traction at the time— we just wanted to do something that, in our opinion, made sense. So we started sketching with our new designer Artem Bazurov. The goal was to make it conservative and simple, so that it not only changes the appearance but also serves a purpose. The concept was a Hellcat with drag tires that needed a bit more space to accommodate wider tires.

Conservative sides but an aggressive front lip—that’s how we made it.

The next question was, how will we attach the kit? The goal was to try the double-sided tape. We did extensive research to find the right one and ran some tests, the results were pretty impressive. It seemed like it would be something extraordinary. In some cases, you could even leave the rear of the car uncut, which sounded very promising considering that the kit was very narrow compared to everything we had done before.

To make it work with double-sided tape, we had to double the quantity of parts; each panel had specific internals and came out as a solid piece, though slightly heavier than expected.

Having checked the installation process with our client in Miami ourselves—it worked, but the Florida heat was a good environment to see if our theory would hold up over time. After a few months, we admitted that installing with tape was complicated and the results weren't always perfect. Some panels held very strongly, but others gave us a headache. The good news was that the panels were perfectly prepared for 3M panel bond installation, which was fast and convenient but absolutely permanent. So that was the method we stick with to install this kit.

We were happy with the kit. It looked slick, required no hardware, and didn’t need custom, expensive, very-wide wheels. It wasn’t a bestseller, but we gained valuable experience for future products, which we’re eager to share.

No hardware isn’t a viable solution in many cases; primarily, it’s often a permanent installation, meaning there's no way to revert back—you might have to paint the entire car or at least all the nearby panels. Non car enthusiasts might not notice the difference, reducing the impact of your work. Plus, in case of an accident, the repair work would be significantly more extensive than with a motorsport-style hardware installation.

After this project, we decided to stick to our roots—keeping it motorsport-style with hardware, doing it our way, aligned with the number of comments about hardware that became our long-time partners who’ve been with us throughout our existence.

In this blog, we want to pay tribute to this kit. And also explain why we keep it with external hardware. Soon, we’ll introduce more new products. Stay tuned.

I was 2 days away from it being shipped and being painted and installed onmy car to be a one of a kind. Although you may have a reason to celebrate, i now have to research for similar kits to assimilate the project. Now im behind schedule by 2 months for Mopar heaven X in March 2026. I want this kit and you dont understand how important it is to me.

When a Build Starts with a Brand-New Truck

Every great build starts with a vision. In this case, it started with a bold statement:          “I want to buy a brand-new truck just to build it with your kit.”
