Every Clinched product starts with design. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, our team has been creating custom exterior parts for more than 10 years — and every designer on our team holds a degree in automotive design. While Clinched is best known for widebody kits and fender flares, our expertise goes well beyond our own product line: we've designed parts for heavy commercial trucks, expedition vehicles, motorcycles, garden equipment, and more. If you can imagine it, our team can design it.

But a great design is only half the job. An exterior part is nothing without the engineering behind it. Our development process is built not just to make a part look right, but to make it install easily. Our Charlotte, NC team has deep expertise in how different components attach to each other, and in designing supporting structures through a range of production methods to reduce cost or improve usability and function. Our materials expertise spans ABS plastic, carbon fiber, fiberglass, metal, and combinations of all of them — letting us design and manufacture products at any level of complexity.

How it works

  3. Review and refine until it's right
  4. Once the concept is approved, we capture your vehicle's exact geometry using our in-house 3D scanner — so every part is engineered to your car's real dimensions
  5. Our engineers determine how the parts will attach and connect to each other
  6. Based on the specifications, we choose the production method that best suits the product
  7. We build the complete package — including all hardware needed for assembly
  8. We refine tooling and materials based on testing results
  9. Move into 3D-printed prototypes or full serial production
